Install in a few minutes

1. Download and extract the ZIP

   Keep the extracted folder somewhere permanent. You’ll load its extension subfolder.

2. Open your browser’s extension manager

   Chrome: chrome://extensions. Edge: edge://extensions. Enable Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked.

3. Select the extension folder

   Select the folder containing manifest.json, not the ZIP or its parent folder. Accept YouTube access if prompted; it is used for filtering and channel identity lookups. Supabase access retrieves community totals without requiring sign-in.

4. Open YouTube

   Refresh any open YouTube tabs. Click the BotControl toolbar icon to open settings. Personal filtering works as a guest.

5. Sign in if you want to vote

   In Settings, enter your email and request a code. Type the code from the newest email into the extension. No ChatGPT account is required. Community blocking stays off until you enable it.

Before you invite a friend

This is an early-access build. Email sign-in and core video filtering have been tested by the owner. Live account voting is newly added and still needs wider browser testing. YouTube layout changes can affect which cards and channels are recognized. Mobile apps and other social platforms are not supported.
